Somebody said there’s a first tweet for everything – now of course Twitter has started promoting the opportunity to find your first Tweet.
Heading into the office – yeay…

In 2006 when we were working with MySpace we all had pseudonyms – fake names to conceal our identity. When Twitter first launched some of us did the same thing… me included. So it wasn’t until late 2007 that I twigged my friends won’t know who or where I am on the platform.
Late 2006 early 2007 I was introduced to Jaiku – Twitter’s competitor. Then there was Seesmic – Twitter but for video messaging – this one I thought had more mileage; not to be.
What platforms did you embrace that no longer exist? I can name quite a few.
