I mentioned earlier this year that Hollister was opening on George Street in Edinburgh – I find this much more exciting; The Kooples first Scottish store is choosing George Street too. This brilliant, quirky brand ties elements from Saville Row, French (read Parisian) styling and hardcore Indie Music.

I applaud The Kooples for making the move and look forward to the official announcement and proposed opening date.

The Kooples brings chic back to the streets, dressing both men and women, with a style borrowed from icons of fashion and a love for vintage. The clothing is often displayed mixed, so you have no idea whether it is male or female until you try it on…

This franco-british elegance has everything from dress shirts to party dresses, jeans to suits, shoes to jewels, and a state of mind that “has the somber thoughts of night owls falling in love in the early hours of the morning”.

Their music taste is eclectic to say the least, not only that they are in the process of launching their own label – read their influences and info here. Thanks to Rob Alves for the insight. (Rob is one of the writers for The Kooples Magazine.
