This all down to the appointment 2 years ago of “DKNY-PR-Girl” who says and I quote: “I’m your well placed fashion source bringing you behind-the-scenes scoop from inside Donna Karan New York and DKNY and my life as a PR Girl living in New York.” Quickly identifying well connected, influential bloggers to spread the word about new season collections, mini-trends, campaign influences, stylist reports – you name it, it all comes back to spreading the word to multiple known individuals rather than buying a Bill Board – and guess what’s working?
