It would seem our beloved “enfant terrible” Pete Doherty has swapped class A’s for a new class altogether… Fashion is providing a new high. The Kooples a Parisian label that does as much for music as it does for Indie underground clothing has encouraged our Pete to design a capsule collection for both Men and Women to be available in October this year.

Earlier this year we discussed Pete’s foray into Jewellery design with the launch of Albion Trinketry; is Pete keeping in touch with Kate Moss or has the relationship left more than heartache?

From flannel blazers to Soviet-style coats with fur collars “The Kooples” says that Pete’s collection is inspired by doomed Byronic heroes. There will also be T-shirts printed with the musician’s own paintings and sketches, who describes his style as eclectic… erm, no shit sherlock!
