Hawick Knitwear, one of the UK’s largest knitwear companies, is now manufacturing 9,500 of its signature sweaters a week to meet the high demand for its product internationally.
This on the back of launching their own label in January this year – a phenomenal result – although admittedly the business has a history of production from as far back as 1876.
Loving this news – everyone loves to hear about success – their 230 staff must be chuffed to learn about this meteoric uptake in sales, although possibly knackered by all the extra work!
