Fashion Fringe is looking for cutting edge, iconoclastic talent in design and creativity to continue the tradition of Vivienne Westwood, Hussein Chalayan and the late Alexander McQueen.
Fashion Fringe is an annual project, launched to find and nurture undiscovered British fashion designers. The hunt begins with the re-launch of the Fashion Fringe website and through an extensive PR campaign.
From the application forms, 10 Semi-Finalists are selected and invited to London to have their abilities tested in a technical day at the London College of Fashion before being interviewed by a selected panel of judges.
The 3 Finalists will then be announced and will spend June, July and August working on their Fashion Fringe Collections which will be showcased at London Fashion Week the following September.
During this time they will take part in an intensive mentoring programme and Fashion Fringe will provide them with the funds, studio space at the London College of Fashion, and technical assistance to create 12-15 “looks” for their capsule collection.
Closing date is 10th May, so get to it!
