The L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival launches this Monday with a week-long showcase of the latest autumn-winter collections. The festival brings the Australian fashion industry to Melbourne each March with loads of events that celebrate the Australian fashion industry and connects it with consumers, media and business.
LMFF features international calibre runways showcasing the latest autumn-winter collections from leading Australian and New Zealand designers.
Designers showing at LMFF in 2011 include Collette Dinnigan, Sass & Bide, Romance Was Born, Yeojin Bae, Lisa Ho, Alex Perry, Willow, Toni Maticevski, Scanlan & Theodore, Kate Sylvester and Karen Walker.
LMFF attracts the biggest names in world fashion to the Festival as special guests or industry experts for LMFF’s premier business events.
This year, some of LMFF’s guests include supermodel and photographer Helena Christensen, Dazed Group’s Jefferson Hack, actresses Melissa George and Andie McDowell, ACNE CEO Mikael Schiller and Bally Creative Directors Graeme Fidler & Michael Herz.
