I can confirm that the rumours are rubbish (what, The Sun getting it wrong, surely not!!) They were reporting that Kanye West had applied to the college to study Fashion… With a debut album called College Dropout, it was a bit of a surprise to hear that Kanye had reputedly applied to study a master’s degree the College.
Gutted, we would’ve loved to have seen Kanye hanging around London with his school books… Jo Ortman, press officer for Central St Martins, sent an email to MTV insisting Kanye’s recent visit to the university was nothing to do with wanting to be the next Karl Lagerfeld.
“Kanye West is not enrolling in [the] MA Fashion [programme] at Central St Martins College of Art and Design. He visited the college last week on unrelated matters.”
