Stella McCartney often finds herself stuck in a Marmite world; there are those of you that will do anything to kiss her butt, be all over her like a rash, treating her like a demi-god. Then there’s the rest that because of her Dad and the opportunities that has provided, you despise the very ground she walks on, she’s had it too easy, made her name on the coat tails of others…
But of course, she’s human like you and I – whatever you think of her eye for design she’s a grafter, working tirelessly on countless projects simultaneously. Her main Spring 2011 collection is classically understated in design beautifully cut using some lush fabrics. Not a million miles away from her influences at Chloe in the late 90’s but then that has always been her signature.
