Tell us about you, who you are, what you do and what you love most about life?
I am Paul Keenan (aka The Keenan One) a freelance fashion writer and blogger based in Edinburgh. I have been living here in this magnificent city since 2006, I originally came here for university but loved the city so much that I’ve stayed and I don’t plan on leaving any time soon! I love the uncertainty of life especially city life. Risks are a day-to-day thing, being kept on my toes and always looking for my next project really keeps me busy. I couldn’t be happier right now

What is it you love most about your business today?
I love meeting new people and connecting with some great creative talent on a day-to-day basis is really refreshing. There are so many talented people out there who are just looking for an opportunity to reach out to the masses, I like being able to help with that and appreciate the time people dedicate to their goals and how they strive to push themselves. We all have to start somewhere and without people giving me the chance I wouldn’t be where I am today.

If you ran a £billion business from Scotland how would like to change the world you live in?
It’s easy to want to cure hunger and poverty its almost a little cliché because as much as we wish we could its really not that simple. I would start small and watch it grow. I am a firm believer in changing little things to support the future. I would likely try to reach out and support growing businesses and creative industries to be more sustainable and forward thinking. We live in a world where its easier not to think about how we affect our surroundings and how we are damaging the future for our children, than it is just to think a bit more.

Pick a theme song for your life:
Ah that’s a tough one. I have an every changing varied taste in music but I have this one song that I’ve loved ever since I was at college, its a song that I can’t get enough of and relate a lot of memories to:

Boys are not known for buying beauty products; do you have a recommendation?
I have a pretty strict regime when it comes to beauty products. Men are much more open and up for trying new things as its all about #TheFace and how we are seen at face value. I swear by Kalamazoo Beard and Face Wash from Lush, Scaramouche and Fandango Moisturiser and Nanoblur by Indeed (it really does blur your skin).

Read more about it on Paul’s blog: Will you do the Fandango?
