The Makeup Artist – Molly Sheridan

Molly Sheridan is the make up artist based in Scotland, working across the UK in commercial, theatre, fashion, film and TV (MTV, BBC, Channel 4 +). Molly has a passion for the weird and wonderful, her favourite make up being avant garde fashion and SpFX.

I ask my five questions:

1. If you were to order a Cocktail, what would it be and from which Bar?
I love a ‘Rum for your honey’ at Distill in Finnieston, Glasgow. Anything with rum and honey is for me, I’m still looking for the perfect rum, honey and apple juice cocktail!

2. Your favourite Music track of the moment?
I’ve gone back to an old favourite. LCD Soundsystem – Someone great.



3. If you were working late into the night and you could order food from any where in the world to be delivered to where you’re working, what would it be and why?
If someone was picking up the delivery bill I would want to get sushi from Sukiyabashi Jiro in Tokyo. Since watching the documentary about head chef and owner – ‘Jiro dreams of Sushi’ I have been dreaming of trying it. But sadly I don’t think sushi travels so well!



4. What is your favourite piece of makeup right now and why?
I have fallen in love with the new Armani Cosmetics ‘Maestro’ range. From the foundation to the Eye and Brow mix this range is now an essential in my kit. I love Armani products as they are always wearable for any age. Especially the Eye and Brow mix, I have used this on almost every single job I’ve been on since I bought it last year. From perfect brows to smokey eyes and adding definition this product goes a long way with so many uses.

5. If you were to work with a VIP, who would you like it to be and why?
I would love to work with someone like Eva Green who is an amazing actor with a brilliant face. She does many period and modern productions as well as still modelling and doing more art themed short films too.
