It’s back and better than ever before. The Edinburgh International Fashion Festival is almost upon us. Anna Freemantle (Festival Director) and husband Jonathan have put together an amazing programme considering their move to South Africa and Anna’s work commitments (the catwalks and shows of Milan Paris, New York…), oh and team!
Never mind about them, who’s on the programme I hear you shout!
Okay, it’s broken down into “Talks“, “Shows” and “Exhibitions“. My favourites are looking like:
Talks: has to be Gareth Pugh and Anna Reynolds, held at the Queen’s Gallery, Palace of Holyrood House on Saturday 19th July at 7pm Booking info here
Shows: Crave presents Racy, Thursday 24th July timing and venue to be revealed; guests are being transported… If you don’t know anything about the team that run CRAVE this is the time to embrace it. Festival favourite and Project Runway winner Jacob Birge (image below) will be featuring alongside Obscure Couture and Saunt & Sinner
Exhibitions: (In partnership with the Retina Festival) This has to be the photography of Rankin and Rika & Helena Christensen at the Assembly Rooms 20th – 22nd July in both the Music Room and Ballroom (free entry outside of the preview night).
