Jours Après Lunes the French underwear label for female babies, toddlers and teens finds itself plastered all over the internet due to the release of these and some other collection shots – the conservative Americans and Brits are up in arms saying it’s portraying young girls as objects dolled up “a la Bridgette Bardot“. Which will call or escalate perverts activity. The more Liberal Canadians and Europeans are saying how else is this company supposed portray its stock and surely if you have kids you will have pictures like this.
My opinion – the real issue here is the fact that the girl collection (middle) has them with make up, bouffant hair, pearls, sunglasses – as they would if they were playing dress up at home – yet the photography is more glamour than ‘playing make up’ teetering close to an inappropriate portrayal. Should the images be taken down? In my view they’re ok (just).
Is this company pandering to perverts?
