A stylish and witty publication that takes its influences from many quarters – appealing to (in my opinion) readers of “Esquire” and “Wallpaper” with a dash of retired “Loaded” but essentially a quality niche magazine for men.
Port’s aim is to place celebrities, fashion and style in a cultural context. A stellar cast of contributing editors has been brought on board, including actress Tilda Swinton, journalist Jon Snow, playwright Hanif Kureishi, writer Ekow Eshun as culture editor, chef Fergus Henderson and author Nathaniel Rich. Actress Samantha Morton, fashion designer Margaret Howell, director Bruce Robinson, journalist Richard Hughes, actor Daniel Day-Lewis, writer Will Self and comedian Frank Skinner.
The Fashion element is in the capable hands of David St John-James, previously fashion editor of AnOther and AnOther Man.
